During CSR week, LVMH wanted to highlight the young designers they support, notably by providing deadstock at Nona Source.
The link between creativity and nature was therefore a logical choice. And who better to represent this than Kevin Germanier, the maestro of reuse. The real challenge here was not only to showcase an emerging artist, but also to prove that nothing is lost, and that everything can be transformed.
At LVMH, savoir-faire is key. It was therefore essential to highlight Kevin Germanier's ingenuity in his use of deadstock materials.
Making, unmaking, and remaking is the most relevant concept to demonstrate that materials have no limits when they are considered within an ecosystem of art, knowledge, and circularity.
To build the fashion of tomorrow, we need the people of tomorrow. It was truly enriching to be able to follow a new designer in the sustainable approaches he is implementing, as I was also able to do with Steven Passaro, or with dozens of pieces of content created for Nona Source.
Because working for LVMH is not just about the target audience and the long-established Maisons, it's also about the future consumer, the future of the planet, and the future Artistic Directors.
